Many new members tell us that joining a fitness facility can be both an exciting and intimidating experience. The following are some of the most common questions members ask during their first month or two with us. If you have a question, not included here, or want help getting started, simply ask the first staff member you see. We’re all here to help you.
How do I use my coaching sessions?
Your membership agreement provides you with a specific number of training sessions each week. Training sessions must be used within that week. Unused sessions do not carry over from week to week. We make every attempt to ensure you meet, but do not exceed your training sessions; however we also ask your assistance in doing the same!
How do I set-up appointments for my first few workouts?
Your initial appointment will be with one of our fitness coaches for your body blueprint and they will help set-up your schedule with you, either with them or with another member of our team. .... To schedule future sessions or group classes, you can set them up with our front desk staff before you leave, or schedule them using your personalized access to our online scheduling program.
What do I do when I arrive for a training session?
Just say “hi!” Let your fitness coach know that you’re here – fill up your True North water bottle with Kangan water, grab a towel and start your mobility and movement prep. If you are going to be measured for changes in body fat – don’t start your dynamic warm up until afterwards. Your fitness coach or nutrition professional will let you know when your measurements will be taken.
If you have any questions or concerns, this is also a great time to get those addressed.
Towels are available free of charge – they are at the sign in desk in the studio, so just grab one when you come in. Be sure to say “hi” to anyone at the front desk! Again, if you have any questions or concerns about any part of your program this is another great time to ask.
Your first workout appointments will include instruction on all of the equipment needed for your program at this stage. If you have a question about a piece of equipment, please ask any of the staff. Anyone will be happy to help you!
