If you would like to join a camp that is alredy in session, please call our office between the hours of 9am-5pm to see if space is available.
Registering for the next upcoming camp - complete the registration form on this site through our secure server, or
Download a registration form and fax or mail it to us.
Once we receive this form and your payment, your spot will be reserved. If you are a first time camper you will need to attend the mandatory orientation and pre camp orientation meeting. If you join while a camp is in session, we can hold a private pre camp evaluation meeting and the cost for the meeting is $35.00.
What is included in the evaluation?
We will give you an introduction to Boot Camp and answer any remaining questions you may have. We will also review your medical history with you at this time.
We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to starting camp. These measurements include; height, weight, body circumference, and body composition.
NOTE: It does not matter what the measurements show. It's strictly for a post-camp comparison. These numbers and all other information are held in the strictest confidence.
You will be given your official Boot Camp T-shirt.
Endurance and strength fitness testing will take place the first and last weeks of camp.
We will re-take the same simple measurements taken prior to the beginning of camp. Again, the particular numbers do not matter; we just want to see improvement.
We show you the body composition and performance improvements you made over the past 3 weeks! DO NOT be surprised to see a 3-8% body fat mass reduction, 20%-25% strength and endurance gains; and 3-5" lost!!
NOTE: These results are averages based on tens of thousands of participants. Your results may vary according to your adherence to the camp promissory agreement (no smoking, no alcoholic or soda beverages, sound nutrition practices), your attendance, your effort, and your genetics. Please ask your Camp Instructor about how to achieve the best results from your camp experience.
A great mixture of people; in many ways they are people just like you. Some just need to jump-start their fitness program; others have a fitness program but are tired of the same old routine and are looking for something fun and different. Many campers have some history of exercise, but its certainly not required as both novice and veteran exercisers find our boot camp to be a challenging and fun workout experience. Remember - ALL ages and fitness levels are welcome and encouraged! Furthermore, many campers choose to continue coming after their first session because of how much fun they have, the great results they get, and the ability to work out under professional guidance for such little cost.
Class sizes vary. Nationally camps usually vary between 15-30 with camps as large as 75. Ventura Adventure Fitness Camps will always maintain a maximum coach to student ratio of 1:35

Using a heart monitor is not required; however, we do advocate and advise using a heart rate monitor because doing so will improve your efficiency and exactly monitor your effort level. This will lead to even greater fat conversion and yield optimum results from any workout, including Boot Camp.
Performance improvement depends on your efforts in camp and outside of camp. Results can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's becoming common to see as much as 3-8 pound of weight loss after the first camp. Remember, fitness is for everyone, but everyone is different!
That's difficult to say since Boot camp is atypical; each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom and to avoid physical adaptation that decreases your results. So, we dont have "typical" days - On any given day you can expect a mixture of some or all of these activities: cardio exercises, Pilates/Yoga style mat work, running/jogging (up to a mile), functional weight training, obstacle courses, jumping rope, and Calisthenics such as jumping jacks, push ups and sit ups. On special days we will go hiking or play sports-related games.
It's always an adventure, and you'll always have fun! Coach Rob & Coach Shannon will teach you a great deal about proper form and "core stability." Each day is designed to be fun and different - and never boring.
We do not provide refunds of any type. We can give you credit (pro-rated) if you are unable to continue with your Boot camp due to circumstance beyond your control. All credits are effective from the date of the decision.; they are not retro-active. Credits are nontransferable. Credit may be applied toward another boot camp.
